:Since then, Sark has been a Regional indicator symbol (🇨🇶) (see also this [https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c4g0wyqdr7yo BBC article]). This probably satisfies the requirement for the requests for comment to be previously discussed, but I'm not ready to implement this request just yet because that discussion showed that there are likely differences that need ironing out. This article includes two estimates of the world population (in the introduction and at the very top of the table). These two estimates are being regularly updated by an editor from unknown sources (i.e. not the United Nations sources that are cited, as far as I can find).

While I think that these edits are being made in good faith, I think we should revert these numbers to those provided in the cited sources, or follow the lead of "World population" and not include an exact number at all (to discourage editors from attempting to unnecessarily "update" it). The dates listed for the Philippines and Guinea estimates are July 1st. However, as of me making this post, it is still June. I'm not sure if they meant to put "Jun" instead of "Jul" or if there's a future estimate date planned, but I don't wanna just go in and change it in case it's supposed to be like that NoOneFliesAroundTheSun (talk) 04:45, 10 June 2025 (UTC)
