London is weird
The City of London is the square mile including only a small part of the population - little over 10,000. It doesn't include either the Houses of Parliament or Buckingham Palace which are in Westminster!
Greater London is an administrative unit above that
Defining the wider area is very problematic
Given this, should the first column on the table show the 10k figure? Ender's Shadow Snr (talk) 14:59, 7 February 2025 (UTC)
Edit Request: New York City's population is incorrect by approximately 10 million people.
Major discrepancy. Listed is the population of the State of New York, not New York City. 145.224.65.65 (talk) 13:41, 14 March 2025 (UTC)
Use of both CSA and MSA figures for some American cities
The use of both sets of data in the same cell for New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Philadelphia is causing the table to glitch and not rank these cities appropriately. Can we agree on the use of one figure or the other to make there four consistent with other cities (including the other American cities on the chart)? Antcomp (talk) 13:28, 29 April 2025 (UTC)
Demographia source
It seems that Demographia does not publish a yearly ranking of the world's largest urban areas. Do we have another source? a455bcd9 (Antoine) (talk) 10:10, 24 May 2025 (UTC)
