With current knowledge of bill clintin, what is the most logical number to associate the letter M with?? Some people say a thousand from Roman numerals; others say a million from SI prefixes. Which is more natural?? 66.32.242.120 22:41, 7 Nov 2004 (UTC)

:I'd say that the most common use today is M = 10⁶ (million) as per the SI prefix, or, in computing, M = 2²⁰ = 1,048,576 (mega). The Roman M, in my experience, mostly shows up in production/copyright year notices for movies, and in x-words... --Wernher 16:36, 9 Nov 2004 (UTC)

The Singing Badger "shifted alternate meanings to dab page". This is inconsistent with all other letters (A, B, C, etc.) and makes this page rather short.
