The corporate wiki reference is incorrect its widely available on the internet and on almost all cutler products that they were incorporated in 1883. http://query.nytimes.com/gst/abstract.html?res=9407E1D71439E733A2575AC0A9639C946897D6CF —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.183.139.110 (talk) 14:07, 20 February 2009 (UTC)

Current Use

This section mentions that the Empire State Building currently uses mail chutes, but the lead image's caption says "Inactive mail chutes in the Empire State Building" -- but the source image does not mention whether it is active.

Reference style

I noticed that there was only a single use of {{sfn}} on this page and there was no use of sfn before [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mail_chute&direction=next&oldid=1101432820 this edit] on 2 August 2022. I have changed the reference to make it consistent. Gusfriend (talk) 08:08, 13 September 2022 (UTC)
