Copyright Violation
The present translation of the Manifesto Antropófago has been copied from issue nr. 46 Spring 1999 of Third Text Magazine [Third World Perspectives on Contemporary Art & Culture] without the translator's permission. The translation is copyrighted 1999 by Third Text/Authors.
Insensitive Translation
The title of this translation is not sensitive to the semantics of anthropophagy. Portuguese also has the word canibal -- much more common than antropofago and a direct cognate of "cannibal" in English. The best rendition would be the "Anthropophagist Manifesto." See for example, a translation byAlfred Mac Adam in the Revista de Antropofagia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.160.81.133 (talk) 21:56, 16 May 2010 (UTC)
