"it will be the only Summer Olympics ceremonies venue never to have held a single athletics (track and field) event during its existence." If I am not mistaken, the Velodrome de Vincennes has never been used for track and field events either.

why "Estádio do Maracanã" in "do" as in "maracana" use masculine particle rather than feminine despite letter a with tilde can be considered feminine?
