MashApps → {{no redirect|Mashapp}} – The term "mashapp" is a neologism for a kind of web application. As such it is not a proper name (i.e. not the name of a specific product or company). I think the same principles that have us use lower case for terms that are commonly acronyms would apply to this word. A decision to retitle would also involve replacing all occurences of "MashApp" with "mashapp" (and at the beginning of a sentence, "Mashapp") Jojalozzo 22:09, 7 August 2012 (UTC)

- Support as nom. The typography is cute and I like how it echoes the mashup of the two words but it took me a while to determine that it was not a product but just a common noun. - :::Ah, you don't mean it's a Wikipedia editor's choice but a wide-world editor's choice. But isn't that always the case? Wide world editors have a wide range of purposes and ends they are attempting to achieve and these are not usually the goals and ends of Wikipedia. MashApp may suit a wide world editor because it's cute and attracts readers but I don't consider those to be primary encyclopedic purposes. Jojalozzo 15:36, 12 August 2012 (UTC)
- Oppose – I don't find any sources with the lowercase A. If we're going to have an article on this, I don't see how we can make up a style different from anything in sources. As with camelCase, I don't think it's an issue of what's a proper name, as camelCase doesn't imply that; in a sentence, it would be "mashApp", I would think. But it's so thin on refs that it's not clear it's even notable; seems to be mostly about a particular product MashApp Composer. Dicklyon (talk) 04:59, 8 August 2012 (UTC)
