Merge proposal

Based on this article, the "north" and "south" Route 3As are just two segments of the same route. If that's the case, those two articles should be merged into this one. If that's not the case, this article needs to be wiped out and turned into a dab page. – T M F 16:06, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

:I agree with merging. Other similar cases where the "A" route has unsigned overlaps with the parent route (Route 2A and Route 1A) don't have split articles. MassGIS data also show that mileposts increase continuously for the various disconnected sections of these routes. --Polaron | Talk 17:43, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

::T think a merge would work. But keep in mind the southern MA 3A is related to MA 3 while the northern MA 3A is related to US 3. However, MassDOT treats US 3 and MA 3 as the same route. Dough 48 72 22:36, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

::Considering all those who were in favor of a merge, and the lack of any significant work done since the proposal, I have gone ahead and performed the merge.
