- :Matt Howard (basketball) → {{no redirect|Matt Howard}}
- :Matt Howard → {{no redirect|Matt Howard (baseball)}}
– The basketball player receives well over ten times the page views that the baseball player receives. Therefore, I believe that the basketball player should be switched to the primary topic. Hoops gza (talk) 21:38, 10 March 2013 (UTC)
- Make Matt Howard a DAB page and have Matt Howard (basketball) and Matt Howard (baseball) link to it. This is how Kevin McHale was done and it works well. Rikster2 (talk) 00:33, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
Make disambiguation page per Rikster2. I don't believe either of these topics can be consider primary over the other.Steel1943 (talk) 06:25, 13 March 2013 (UTC)
::Support Move. Since I just remembered that I'm not a fan of disambiguation pages with only two articles listed, since the functionality of having two similarly named topics can be distinguished by a hatnote on the primary topic, that's what I would rather see: I support this move, provided that a hatnote be placed on Matt Howard after the move is done to distinguish it from Matt Howard (baseball). Also, all of the articles that currently link to the two existing articles would all need to have their links in their articles redirected towards the proper target; I'm seeing at least 10 links that currently direct towards Matt Howard on other pages that would need to be fixed. Steel1943 (talk) 05:37, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
:::Comment - I see what you are saying but I don't think either of these guys is "clearly" the primary Matt Howard. This isn't Michael Jordan or Mike Schmidt we're talking about, here. Rikster2 (talk) 16:26, 14 March 2013 (UTC)
- Support per WP:TWODABS/WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. --BDD (talk) 17:39, 18 March 2013 (UTC)
