Extent

The article states that Maui Nui consisted of seven shield volcanoes, which were East Molokai, West Molokai, Lānaʻi, West Maui, East Maui, Penguin Bank and Kahoʻolawe. If you look closely at :File:Bathymetry image of the Hawaiian archipelago.png you will see that the water between Oahu and Molokai is shallower than what is at Hana Ridge which according to :File:Maui Nui breakup.svg formed the eastern point of Maui Nui. This rises a question: if Hana Ridge formed part of Maui Nui how didn't the area around Oahu form part of Maui Nui? Volcanoguy 00:07, 10 March 2016 (UTC)

:Another point is that sea level rise since 21,000 years ago has only been about 125 m (about 410 feet).{{cite web|title=Glaciers and Sea Level|url=https://www2.usgs.gov/climate_landuse/glaciers/glaciers_sea_level.asp|website=U.S. Geological Survey|publisher=U.S. Geological Survey, U.S. Department of the Interior|accessdate=4 January 2017|date=30 May 2012|url-status=dead|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20170104234233/https://www2.usgs.gov/climate_landuse/glaciers/glaciers_sea_level.asp|archivedate=4 January 2017}} WolfmanSF (talk) 21:17, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
