regarding the macrocycle alkylation: it appears to me that there is a mistake in the figure, the amide nitrogen can't bond to the halide ion, it has to be a hydrogen bond between the amide hydrogens and the halide. Perhaps this could be changed? I'm with gerrit (talk) 15:42, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
