Middle Earth housing is a legitamate branch of UCI student housing, just as much as Mesa Court. Mesa Court has a wikipedia entry was well, equally of importance as Middle Earth. If the wikipedia entry for Mesa Court stands, then the entry for Middle Earth deserves to stand as well. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Forthenguyen (talkcontribs) 30 January 2010

Maybe the material that doesn't necessarily meet Wikipedia standards can be moved onto [http://irvinewiki.org/Middle_Earth Irvine Wiki]. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.253.227.221 (talk) 04:55, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

Request

The article 'Middle Earth Housing' does not shed any light whatsoever on the world created by J.R.R. Tolkien. It only records that an American university has 'borrowed' a random selection of names [from The Lord of the Rings] and has applied them arbitrarily (and in some instances using incorrect spellings).

I request that this article be removed from the Middle-earth Portal and related category pages (e.g. Adaptions of works; Tolkien stubs).

I suggest that the article be added to Middle-earth (disambiguation). (I would do this myself if my above request were implemented.)

I disclose that I am a member of The Tolkien Society, although I do not act for, speak for or otherwise represent it in any official capacity.
