Momo is never called Momos.
Momo is a proper name. Although it is in plural form, it is never called Momos. Most people get it wrong, especially Indians.117.20.68.221 (talk) 21:13, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
:Who gets it right, then? Apocheir (talk) 22:57, 4 June 2024 (UTC)
:@117.20.68.221 You are right. Momo does not have a plural form and anyone using "Momos" is simply saying the wrong name. Thus, Wikipedia should correctly label it as Momo and not Momos. FateXBlood (talk) 14:41, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
::Your userpage says you're Nepali. The first commenter implies that Indians especially tend to use "momos". Is that the conflict, between Nepal and India? Apocheir (talk) 20:41, 19 July 2024 (UTC)
:::Labeling as whole India would be wrong, most people from Dehli started this misuse of the word and now gradually people are acknowleding it. And I don't know why still wikipedia is using the word momos with a note. That is just promotion of misinformation with a note. Bishal Rawal88 (talk) 11:00, 23 December 2024 (UTC)

Edit the pleural MOMOs it's MOMO as a single unit . Neither tibet nor Nepal refer them as MOMOs. People from India have presumed it . 182.93.71.195 (talk) 11:58, 26 November 2024 (UTC)

Please change the name from Momos to Momo. Momo is itself plural. Wikkkeieditor (talk) 17:49, 14 December 2024 (UTC)
:{{not done}}: there is already a note that explains that some speakers of South Asian English use "momo" as the plural form. M.Bitton (talk) 18:11, 14 December 2024 (UTC)

Princess Bhrikuti of Nepal took momo receipe to tibet
Princess Bhrikuti of Nepal got married to Tibetan Prince Srongchen Gampo. When she went to Tibet she took the receipe of momo with her! Momo in newari language means ma: ma: , by ma: it means steam. So basically it’s steam-steam , ma-ma. Not one mention of Bhrikuti in this article i am shocked! Norchen12 (talk) 19:49, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
