NCOS on x86?

PC Magazine [http://www.pcmag.com/encyclopedia_term/0,2542,t=Network+in+a+Box&i=47886,00.asp claims]: {{xt|Network in a Box An earlier turnkey network computer (NC) solution from Network Computer, Inc., (NCI) that included an x86-based server with the NCOS operating system, Oracle Web server, Oracle Interoffice messaging and various bundled applications.}} Does anyone have any further knowledge of this? --Trevj (talk) 14:25, 8 June 2011 (UTC)

NCOS terms elsewhere

What about reference to NCOS by Auriga (company) at [http://www.auriga.com/files/projects/network_comp_oper_sys.pdf]? There's a mention of Java, so perhaps it's related. --Trevj (talk) 14:28, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

And [http://www.ncns.com/news/2/OOW.html this 1997 ref]? --Trevj (talk) 14:03, 10 June 2011 (UTC)
