Talk:Neb-er-tcher

{{ping|jay}} - I noticed you had relisted the discussion for this redirect page. Not sure what the proper procedure here is (the relisting was asking for comments in a section that said "don't change or add new material"), but as somebody who reads Egyptian, I can confirm that my first thought when reading nb-r-Dr would be Atum, as that's his common title. The literal meaning is "Lord to the limit" or more idiomatically in English "Lord of All". It can be appended to other names, heck, I have even seen a very similar expression in Coptic referring to the Christian god (ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲧⲏⲣϥ), but if a redirect makes sense at all it would be to Atum. Hope this helps!

:I had it relisted on 1st May, and the discussion closed on 10th May with the result of retarget to Atum. Jay 💬 14:03, 18 July 2024 (UTC)
