Hi @PadFoot2008! I noticed significant changes you have made to the page without proper references/sources. May I know, What is the reference here for regions - Northwest India, West India, Central India and East India are the sub-regions of North India?

Also you have removed significant content from history in [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=&diff=1178698690&oldid=1178652869 this edit]. What you are trying to prove here?

It seems from edit history, you wholly controlling this page. If you have any sources, do you have any plan to add History, Culture or Places of these regions? I think this Classification cant be done or should not be done on basis of language or group of languages (The only section you have changed or focused after adding these regions). Please try to understand this page is about the region called 'North India' and not about Indo-Aryan's or Indo-Aryan Languages or not about region outside of South India. And none of the content is unreferenced. The sub-regions parameter in the infobox is an index to the regions it covers, similar to the most populated cities for instance. Why are Bihar, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Goa included in North India?? Whakayis (talk) 20:57, 12 July 2024 (UTC)

:The following gives an overview of actual zones of India but to extend North till Goa is absurd. Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh are Central India. Maharashtra is mentioned as WEST in one of the sources added by whoever extended this. North India is, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, UTs of Chandigarh and Ladakh. Rest of those included here are Central India, Western India, and Eastern India.

This page lists almost entire India as North India which is not only a false claim but absurd. If we check Central India, Eastern India or this zonal image which is actually more accurate [https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Zonal_Councils.svg], we know that even West India has been included in North. The reason of this is unclear. It might have something to do with racial distinction or equivalence as North Indians are generally categorised or referred as Indo-Aryans. It is seen as a superiority over the others on internet but it doesn't matter and should not be misrepresented here. In general, North India refers to, Rajasthan, New Delhi, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, UTs of Chandigarh and Ladakh. Sources that have been added in the Infobox (next to states) refute these claims as well for example one places Maharashtra in the West.

I request an independent administrator who has not engaged in this article previously to kindly check it and remove the questionable data.

::Thank you for your reply. Yeah, not that big of an issue but the reason to ask an admin is they can stop re-adding of the same data.
