The equation for the conversion from ammonia to nitric oxide should be:

4NH3 + 5O2 <===> 4NO + 6H2O

Not match with my book

The process here in Wikipedia of manufacturing Nitric oxide isnot match with my book Harrie Sani (talk) 03:32, 30 May 2015 (UTC)

Overall reaction when carried out in the air

As a beginner in chemistry, I'm confused about one thing. If everything is divided by 2 at the end, Why does 4 NH3 (g) and 4 HNO3 (aq) become NH3 (g) and HNO3 (aq) respectively, as if the equation was divided by 4 instead? Eugenio0027 (talk) 02:41, 4 May 2024 (UTC)
