Talk:Pediocactus

@Cs california, I see in 2023 you moved Pediocactus despainii and Pediocactus winkleri. I was looking at the list of POWO accepted species for the genus and then at World Flora Online and World Plants. Only World Plants lists them as subspecies. Is there a good source for why Plants of the World Online is not being followed in this case? I did not notice a recent source on either of the articles showing they had recently been determined to be synonyms. 🌿MtBotany (talk) 18:49, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
