:Peru–Chile Trench → {{no redirect|Peru-Chile Trench}} – Peru-Chile Trench is an [http://marineregions.org/gazetteer.php?p=details&id=7587 official name] that uses a hyphen instead of an en dash. Volcanoguy 20:18, 1 November 2019 (UTC)

  • {{ping|Volcanoguy|Vycl1994}} WP:OFFICIALNAME, WP:WIAN, and MOS:DASH should be considered here. With regard to article titles, Wikipedia's Manual of style states {{tq|In article titles, do not use a hyphen (-) as a substitute for an en dash, for example in eye–hand span (since eye does not modify hand).}} In this case Peru does not modify Chile, e.g, Chile–Peru relations, Chile–Peru football rivalry. • Oppose for now per Vyc11994. The redirect is in place, and the current title appears to be correct per our style guide. Dekimasuよ! 05:39, 9 November 2019 (UTC)
