Peter Seeger joining the Communist Party

Looking at the source for when Seeger joined the Communist Party, The Protest Singer, citation 26 on this article, I could not find it saying when Seeger joined the communist party (the article says it was 1942) or whether he was a part of the youth organization, though it does corroborate when he left (1949). As I do not know the correct procedure for marking a citation that only provides partial info I'm raising it here without making any note in the page itself. NYT obituary

Both the original NYT obituary URL and an archived URL are in a citation but the URL in the external link is only the original. It would be useful if the archived URL were included there as well, perhaps instead of the original if both can't be. Mcljlm (talk) 18:31, 14 June 2023 (UTC)

Citation 117

I believe citation 117 (beginning "{{tq|The phrase "America's tuning fork" is usually attributed to poet Carl Sandburg...}}") is not a reference, but an extended footnote. Is anyone able to change it? I am unable to get it right without formatting errors appearing. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 21:10, 9 December 2024 (UTC)
