Peach, Mario and the other women
Would it be possible to expand the article, so that it goes more in depth on her relationship with Mario? I'd also like to see someone address similarities between Peach, Roselina and Paulina. FF3TerraAndLocke (talk) 06:17, 7 March 2012 (UTC)
:Unless it is sourced, it would be trivia. As for the similarities, I do not think it is neccessary. Androids101 | Visit me! | talk | contribs 07:21, 23 April 2012 (UTC)
"Partner"?
The article claims:
:"...her best friend and partner is Princess Daisy."
Should, perhaps, the term 'partner' be clarified? Or perhaps I missed one of the Mario games out there... -Grammaticus Repairo (talk) 18:55, 7 April 2012 (UTC)
:Can you tell me where that is? I'll gladly remove that claim. Androids101 | Visit me! | talk | contribs 07:21, 23 April 2012 (UTC)

Because she is often kidnapped in Mario adventure series, but she is a playable character of Mario spin-off series and Super Smash bros. series.
And it needs to be added about Super Mario Run, in 'Appearance' part of Princess Peach Wikipedia article. In Super Mario Run, she is kidnapped in early phase. Written on August 3rd, 2017 : Here are my 2 requests about changes I want to be made.(I already brought 17 sources for my requests on July 20th, 2017. They are written on an above paragraph.)
1. Please change the sentence that is called 'She often plays the damsel in distress role within the series and is the lead female.' to 'She often plays the damsel in distress role within the adventure series and is the lead female.' . this sentence is written on introduction part of Princess Peach article ahead of the table of contents of Princess Peach article that is named Concept and creation.
Because Princess Peach is often kidnapped in Mario adventure series, but she is a playable character of Mario spin-offs series and Super Smash Bros. series.
2. In the table of contents of Princess Peach article that is named Appearances, please add this content.
: In Super Mario Run, she is kidnapped in early phase. But after she is rescued by Mario, she becomes a playable character and goes to sweep Bowser. Also, she can travel great distances with a floaty jump. In case of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle, it will be released on August 29th, 2017. Princess Peach is a playable character of this game who has very well-balanced variable statistics.

Not only Super Princess Peach, there is Princess Toadstool's Castel Run
Hi.
Just wanted you to know that Peach owns 2 games :
"Super Princess Peach" in 2006, yes, but she also owns "[https://www.complex.com/pop-culture/2011/11/portable-plumber-the-complete-history-of-mario-in-handheld-games/8 Princess Toadstool's Castle Run]", where she is the main character and the only playable character, so technically, this is her first game and the first time she was under the spotlights. The game was out in 90's on the Nelsonic and you can find the game on the Nelsonic page's games list (Wikipedia).

This artwork is too old
Nintendo reworked on all main characters's artworks. This one doesn't represent exactly her new appearance through all new games. Although she keeps the same colours for her outfits, hair and eyes, she doesn't have the same face and skin color.
It would be better to use the one from Super Mario Party, for instance, which is more detailed. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JustARandomBoy (talk • contribs) 23:30, 11 November 2019 (UTC)

Wrong description
“One of Peach's most common traits during her playable appearances is her ability to temporarily float in the air with her large skirt”.
Wrong. This ability is named “floating jump” through several games and she can use it without her dress, especially in Super Mario 3D World (2013), where she can use it while she’s wearing the cat costume thanks to the Super Bell. That shows she doesn’t need a skirt to perform it. A dress can’t allow you to float like this. It’s a magical ability. A “magical powers” section should be created. --CoconutMall9021033 (talk) 22:57, 16 November 2019 (UTC)

Reception -> Polls + Princess Toadstool’s Castle Run
In an official poll called “Who's your Mushroom Kingdom Valentine” conducted by Nintendo on the Play Nintendo website, Peach was NO. 1 with 17 261 votes : https://play.nintendo.com/activities/opinion-polls/nintendo-valentines-day-poll/
In an official poll conducted by the Japanese Super Smash Bros. website, Peach was the 2nd most requested character for Smash Bro’s Melee with 66 votes after Bowser : https://www.nintendo.co.jp/n01/n64/software/nus_p_nalj/smash/PostResult2.html
The game Princess Toadstool’s Castle Run, her first game before Super Princess Peach, is missing on the page.

Mention of sex game
I do not think the mention of an illegal sex game adds anything to the article. Porn is made of every character everywhere, so it goes without saying that it has been made of a very popular female video game character. We should remove the one sentence addition unless we want to go around to all of the Mario world characters (such as Mario and Bowser) and mention how they too have had sex games made of them.73.192.5.245 (talk) 19:46, 19 April 2021 (UTC)
:{{Done}} While Wikipedia is WP:NOTCENSORED, I've removed the mention on the basis that despite existing for eight years it took a DMCA notice by Nintendo for it to receive any coverage in RS - suggesting that the game wasn't all that notable to begin with, and thus would be undue to include. I would like the following change to be made to the Critic Reception portion:
{{TextDiff|The website ranked her 48th in its list of Top 50 Hottest Game Babes, claiming that she is "the quiet 'quick, come and rescue me' type, but in Mario Strikers Charged she's all action with a hot sports outfit and shows the boys who's boss".|The website ranked her 48th in its list of Top 50 Hottest Game Babes, claiming that she is "the quiet 'quick, come and rescue me' type, but in Mario Strikers Charged she's all action with a sexy sports outfit and shows the boys who's boss".}}
Simply put, the quote is inaccurate. This edit would make it an actual quote.

Peach has no known last name
Toadstool was the NA name before it was transitioned into Peach.
In Mario tennis, her name is Peach.
There is no NA specific name for Peach now. 108.16.204.24 (talk) 16:28, 9 February 2024 (UTC)
:This article should follow the convention of WP:COMMONNAME in a similar way to other characters with different names like Darth Vadar. She has been known as simply Princess Peach since Super Mario 64, which was the transition point between Toadstool and Peach in NA. Toadstool has been completely phased out - it's not mentioned by Nintendo on their official websites, nor in the gaming press, so the first sentence should name her as Princess Peach, followed by an explanation of her earlier name. Image of Peach in film
There is commentary for Peach in the film, but nothing about how she looks and the actual text on the image of her just states this an image to be used in the infobox. This fails the fair use for including the imagery of her in the article. Andrzejbanas (talk) 12:14, 17 April 2024 (UTC)

Per the rule {{gt|Websites owned by the company Valnet, such as TheGamer, Collider, Comic Book Resources, MovieWeb, Screen Rant, and Game Rant, are considered to be of questionable reliability. Valnet treats these websites as content farms and they often rely on churnalism, leading to click-bait pages such as numbered lists, poorly-written opinion pieces, and articles that regurgitate information from higher-quality sources. These should be avoided, as should articles that are based on user-generated content from social media posts, audience reviews, or databases like IMDb. These websites can be used for direct interviews and some official reviews, but it is recommended that they be replaced with higher-quality sources if available.}} This was removed by a user saying it was [https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Princess_Peach&diff=prev&oldid=1281884774 here] saying "there was no need to". I do not understand how this is follows the standards of this ruling, so I'm opening it up for discussion here. Andrzejbanas (talk) 18:02, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
