Reaction-diagram problem
I think there's a mistake in the enamine intermediate (first picture in brackets).
There seems to be in total 5 carbons between the two cycles (the left cycle being proline)
while the reagent could only afford 4 carbons in between the cycles.
To put it another way, the reagent is a 1,5-dicarbonyl while the enamine intermediate (first picture in brackets) would result from a 1,6-dicarbonyl. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:998:E1:8A53:B00B:195E:7A10:CEEF (talk) 07:58, 29 November 2019 (UTC)
