Merge proposal with [[Quadratic equation]]
{{archive top|result=Consensus is to merge. I will go ahead and merge this article into quadratic function. Then, if someone wants to propose merging with quadratic equation, that can be done by starting a new discussion. Personally, I would be disinclined to merge stuff into quadratic equation (which is already a long article), but have an open mind about it.Anythingyouwant (talk) 19:02, 15 September 2013 (UTC)}}
- Support. Move relevant content into Quadratic equation and keep that one as the master. DVdm (talk) 20:03, 12 October 2011 (UTC)
:::The merge proposal at the top of the article is to combine quadratic polynomial with quadratic function. Wouldn't that leave quadratic equation undisturbed? Anythingyouwant (talk) 07:37, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
::::I think the best thing is to merge poly and func into quadratic equation. A no-brainer :-) - DVdm (talk) 15:14, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
:::::It might be best to start by merging two of those articles, and then we can start a discussion about merging with the third. Can we start by merging poly and func? Wikipedia isn't really set up to merge three at once.Anythingyouwant (talk) 15:17, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
::::::Go ahead with whatever you prefer, or, if you like, with anything you want :-) ... - DVdm (talk) 15:20, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
- Support. Agree with DVdm. It's a Fox! (Talk to me?) 19:19, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
- Support. They are clearly one and the same thing. Olli Niemitalo (talk) 09:06, 2 March 2013 (UTC)
- Support combining quadratic polynomial with quadratic function as proposed at the top of this article. Quadratic equation would remain unchanged.Anythingyouwant (talk) 14:26, 15 September 2013 (UTC)
