:As someone has objected to my edits to guru, Hindu gurus are morally conservative and they respect the religious tradition. Rajneesh was their opposite. So, yeah, Western people believe Ranjeesh was a guru, Hindus not so much. tgeorgescu (talk) 10:54, 7 October 2024 (UTC)

While this perspective was controversial, it was never his sole focus. Osho's discourses covered a vast range of topics, from meditation and philosophy to psychology and mysticism. Labeling him solely as a "sex guru" oversimplifies his complex and multifaceted teachings.

But in Sanskrit 'guru' means 'dispeller of darkness' and 'sex guru' is simply a pejorative label but not commonly applied to him so I think there are some minor mistakes in the lead section.
