Upon which sector is the legal demand?
We read:
- "The RPS mechanism generally places an obligation on electricity supply companies to produce a specified fraction of their electricity from renewable energy sources."
But doesn't the post-deregulation requirement fall upon the utility (distributor) rather than upon the supplier to buy a percentage of renewable energy on behalf of each enrolled meter (customer)? MaynardClark (talk) 22:44, 15 September 2015 (UTC)
