Weak article

I'm not sure about the strength of the introduction to this article, which consists mostly of trivia and notable residents which could easily be moved further down the article. I'm also itching to remove the Downtown section which simply lists a number of local businesses that can be found in Ross, which is unencyclopedic. Is there more information that can be added to the article about the history of Ross or various institutions contained within it? Cuffeparade 08:08, 4 April 2007 (UTC)

Ross School

Where is it? and why is it not included in this article? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.103.25.3 (talk) 01:04, 6 July 2010 (UTC)

Joan Ryan

Based on the contents of the linked article, it would seem like this is a different Joan Ryan.--NapoliRoma (talk) 19:57, 30 July 2010 (UTC)

Julia Child

Uh, She's dead. Been dead for 7 years. I'm deleting her. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.210.229.254 (talk) 03:18, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

:Lists of people associated with a place are not just for current residents or living people, unless there's a reason to establish such criteria and post it in the article. It's possible that Child's bios and articles about her have interesting and encyclopedic information about her time in Ross and about the city, itself. Editors won't look for them if they don't know that she lived here.--Hjal (talk) 08:07, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
