Baseball

I was given a baseball yesterday and I'm trying to figure out what year these guys played . Some of the names I can read Steve Miller, Dennis O'Connell, Gordan James, and a lot of first names that I can clearly see the last names. Dusty, Jack, Wesley, Ed, Hank and William. There are more names so any info would be appreciated.

::SABR has a minor league database [http://minors.sabrwebs.com/cgi-bin/index.php here]. Although there have been several minor league players named "Steve Miller," none of them played for the San Francisco Seals. The database doesn't show any minor league players named "Dennis O'Connell." BRMo (talk) 03:32, 30 March 2009 (UTC)

Hitting Streak

Many years ago I read that Joe DiMaggio's 61-game hitting streak was the minor league record. If that's true, it would be worth adding.Dynzmoar (talk) 12:35, 13 August 2020 (UTC)

:That’s not true it was when he was on the yankees 107.219.193.182 (talk) 03:01, 27 February 2025 (UTC)
