Radio Call

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but it is to my understand that Adam Lanza called into AnarchyRadio hosted by John Zerzan, the anarchist philosopher. Lanza discussed Travis the Chimp, the case of a domesticated chimpanzee named Travis who brutally assaulted his owner's friend. Lanza suggested that this was the result of Travis being raised in an unnatural and coercive environment and drew parallels to violence by humans and suggested that it had the same cause. This is mentioned on Zerzan's Wikipedia page as well for anyone who is interested in reading. I think it deserves a brief mention on Lanza's section due to his explicit mention of mass shootings. :::There are sources in the John Zerzan article, though some at least look questionable. Frankly, I think that the content on the Lanza call there is grossly bloated, and if it merits discussion at all, needs trimming to a summary, citing only the best sources. If anything is to be included here, the same would apply. Firstly though, we'd need evidence that this particular event is considered of significance when discussing the Sandy Hook shooting. ::::It wouldn't be relevant for the shooting itself, but it would be relevant for Adam Lanza's section, and perhaps also on the off-site investigation, I would argue. Despite some sources repeating the story and saying that it is Lanza's voice, the New York Daily News was more cautious, pointing out the identification of the voice as Lanza's came from two friends who said that it sounded like his voice.
