The article seemed to have been written by someone who does not speak English as mother tongue or perhaps is an awkward translation from the French (perhaps partly machine translated? It sounded a bit like babelfish or freetranslation.com). I made a few corrections (tense and correcting the sense of one of the sentences). The article can stand as it is now, unless someone wants to make it flow a bit more naturally. By the way, it is a very amusing film, though why a French Canadian doctor from Montreal would be obsessed with cricket is a bit obscure. As an English Montrealer myself, I mostly relied on the subtitles, and I may have missed some of the subtleties (subtleties not subtitles, heh heh). I wondered at one point if the doctor was intended to be an English Canadian fluent in French (I do know a very very few anglo's who are into cricket) but my French Canadian colleagues say not.

:The cricket sections are also incredibly inaccurate, whether deliberately or not I don't know. See [http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/wisdencricketer/content/story/239740.html this review] from Cricinfo (a specialist cricket site), for example. 86.136.252.181 05:39, 5 January 2007 (UTC)

I took him to be an English Canadian, esp. with a name like Christopher Lewis. The Lewis could be a totally gallicized family, but Christopher, plus the cricket, led me to think he was a Montrealer who spoke fluent French, from an English-speaking background. Why did your French Canadian colleagues say not? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 20:29, 9 August 2011 (UTC)
