Shutter
Even though "Fine for Parking" and "Curb your dog" are the butt of jokes ("honestly, your honor...") and a "Window shutter" doesn't shut the sun off, due to the relative novelty of the concept, the supervising rabbinical guidance is to remove the terms "on" and "off" from the public when discussing these innovative bulbs, covers and lamps. At this point, one company has a TM on its "Slide Shutter" - in a way that would go with a weekday "shut off the light" and hence is delaying acceptance in some households. Are LED lights acceptable?
Technically also not a "fire", are LED light sources acceptable in the same way as CFL light sources? Thelongdarkteatimeofthesoul (talk) 01:44, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
