"the player must both move"
The page used to say, about the gameplay, that "the player must both move". I have changed this to "the player must move both horizontally and vertically", but I have never played the game, so someone can correct this. See the Degrees of freedom (engineering) page to define whether the player has 6 degrees of freedom (like in the computer game "descent")--Slashme 08:36, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
No, the player doesn't have six degrees of freedom (like Descent & Forsaken): Solar Assault is more a rail shooter in the vein of games such as Space Harrier, Star Fox and Panzer Dragoon, but with a weapon system along the lines of Gradius. 86.159.96.6 (talk) 23:23, 1 February 2013 (UTC)
