Add Map of Southern California with Original Indian Tribes (Indigenous)
It would be useful to add a map of what Southern California looked like when the Indian tribes (Indigenous Americans) lived there. Such as this map: [https://curtiswrightmaps.com/product/the-gabrielino-indians-at-the-time-of-the-portola-expedition/ The Gabrielino Indians at the time of the Portola Expedition]. It was designed by historian Allen Welts and copywritten in 1962 by the Southwest Museum. Another example: [https://www.latimes.com/environment/story/2023-10-09/researchers-map-ancient-tribal-villages-of-los-angeles this map] shows ancient tribal routes and communities. Here's a map of the Tongva villages in the [https://barrioboychik.wordpress.com/2018/11/22/the-first-displacement-the-indigenous-people-of-boyle-heights/ Los Angeles Basin]. - Artanisen (talk) 09:21, 3 March 2024 (UTC)
