Article is so biased
Not that I'm surprised considering how Wikipedia writes about President Trump, but this is just propaganda. May someone please rework this article? 2601:589:5184:8A0:D519:9982:6ED:3154 (talk) 14:18, 25 May 2025 (UTC)
:There's a chance you're right, but nothing will change without a specific pointer to what is biased. Tarlby (t) (c) 14:55, 25 May 2025 (UTC)
::Using Yellen as a source is pretty biased. Not to mention the article speculates on future events based on non reliable sources 2600:6C5E:5D7F:F073:5856:5F98:58EF:DB4 (talk) 11:33, 13 June 2025 (UTC)
:::Your odd comment about Yellen, without even showing where she is sourced, appears to show bias on your part. She has an outstanding career. Your second sentence doesn't refer to anything either. O3000, Ret. (talk) 12:03, 13 June 2025 (UTC)
Proposal to add external link to comprehensive US tariffs page
Hi editors,
I’d like to propose adding a factual external resource under the “External links” section that may be useful to readers interested in the scope and impact of U.S. tariffs under the current policy.
Suggested link:
The page includes:
- A country-by-country tariff table (U.S. tariffs vs. foreign tariffs)
- A timeline of major 2025 tariff actions
- Sourced commentary and economic impact summaries
- A breakdown of sectoral exemptions (e.g., energy, semiconductors)
I’m affiliated with the site as its maintainer and disclose that here for transparency. The content is non-promotional, cites reputable sources (Reuters, Politico, AP, etc.), and is intended to complement the article with detailed reference data not already covered.
Happy to revise or withdraw the suggestion based on feedback. Thank you! Jbird96 (talk) 23:10, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
:This looks like an interesting site, but is it referenced by any reputable sources? How do we know it's reliable enough to link this way? satkara❈talk 00:10, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
::Hi @Satkara. Thanks for following up. The tariff page (and website) is relatively new, with the goal of providing full transparency ([https://worldscorecard.com/transparency/ Transparency: About World Scorecard]) about its data sources. Bing.com, the search engine, considers the page an authoritative one this topic, as ranks top 1-3 rankings for key search phrases such as "us tariffs", "us tariffs list", "tariffs list", and so on. Jbird96 (talk) 09:13, 1 June 2025 (UTC)
:::Hi @Satkara Did you get a chance to review this proposal? Thanks. Jbird96 (talk) 22:17, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
Factually incorrect
Inflation is down, we're expected to experience deflation and prices simply arent going up.
It's one thing to use biased sources, but using biased sources that have a track record of being wrong is immensely disingenuous and I'll forgo donating yet again this next round of begging Wikipedia does.
We're suppose to report objective fact, not bias against your political opponents 2600:6C5E:5D7F:F073:5856:5F98:58EF:DB4 (talk) 11:31, 13 June 2025 (UTC)
:Inflation has [https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-consumer-prices-rise-moderately-may-2025-06-11/ actually been increasing], albeit moderately. Can you quote or indicate the exact sections you find biased and/or improperly sourced? satkara❈talk 14:09, 13 June 2025 (UTC)
