Ted Kennedy was also the longest-serving U.S. Senator who was never president pro tempore of the United States Senate. 2600:1017:B837:A10F:51F9:C8F0:AC5A:E158 (talk) 22:41, 15 June 2023 (UTC)

In the "Early 1990s" section, please change "Cassone said that Ted Kennedy subsequently walked in on her and Patrick, who was dressed only in a nightshirt and had a weird look on his face" to "Cassone said that Ted Kennedy subsequently walked in on her and Patrick; Ted was dressed only in a nightshirt and had a weird look on his face." It was Ted, not Patrick, who was dressed only in a nightshirt, per the two cited sources. 2001:BB6:47ED:FA58:A9DB:3A73:F003:C94 (talk) 11:51, 2 July 2024 (UTC)

:::It's in the middle of the second paragraph of the "Early 1990s" section. If you can't find it, use CTRL–F and search for "Cassone said that Ted Kennedy subsequently walked in on her and Patrick, who was dressed only in a nightshirt and had a weird look on his face", or even just "Cassone said". 2001:BB6:47ED:FA58:F46A:D168:6CB0:D846 (talk) 11:27, 3 July 2024 (UTC)

:{{nd}} while they are accurate, Ted's religion isn't worth adding categories for per WP:Overcategorization#Non-defining characteristics when it doesn't appear to be a trait he prominently is noted for (at least compared to political activities or family affiliations). Can you mention he had the shortest natural lifespan of his siblings (as in He obviously lived much longer than his Brothers and sister Kathleen but out of the 5 Kenendy to die from natural causes he had the shortest lifespan) 2A00:23C5:FE33:2801:E8A6:6384:3B68:B24 (talk) 21:38, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
:{{nd}} the notion of a "natural lifespan" sounds like awkward phrasing, plus this is trivial detail to begin with. SNUGGUMS (talk / edits) 22:41, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
Novelty recording: Convention '72 by [[The Delegates]]
Notice he was approached by McGovern regarding the Democratic VP nomination in 1972. The recording depicts Ted Kennedy as some sort of superstar waiting in the wings; in its use of popular-song excerpts, it uses spoken "I am the Magnificent" in reference to Ted Kennedy, but as we well know, he'd had the Chappaquiddick incident by then.
The song using "I am the Magnificent" is Double Barrel.
