Different conventions for which is covariant and which is contravarient

The merged Tensor calculus and Ricci calculus article should inclued a {{alink|Nomenclature}} section explaining that there are two conventions as to whether tangent vectors are covariant and contravariant, and stipulating which convention is used in the article. The same applies to Covariance and contravariance of vectors and Exterior algebra. The convention chosen should be consistent across these articles.

:Noting that this discussion has now been archived; see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Mathematics/Archive/2024/Oct#Covariant versus contravariant. Note that this seems redundant given that the merge (see last section) was only from referenced material, of which there was very little. So, the merge created no nomenclature conflict.
