"Shadow"

Many sources say "Shadow"'s Remix version was released as a single, not the original song. Is it proper to regard "Shadow" as the second single from the album, just because it has a remix single? What's y'all think? Camilasdandelions (talk!) 13:39, 28 April 2025 (UTC)

:{{u|Camilasdandelions}} I had this issue with Outside (David Bowie album). The song "Hallo Spaceboy" was released one way on the album but a remix by the Pet Shop Boys was the version released as a single, so in the infobox I made sure to clarify. So for this you'd want to put (Remix) after "Shadow" in the infobox. I hope this helps! – zmbro (talk) (cont) 15:29, 12 May 2025 (UTC)

::@Zmbro: Hello! I appreciate your reply. Yes, I thought about that way too, but the problem is remix version of "Shadow" isn't included on The Loveliest Time. Camilasdandelions (talk!) 15:50, 12 May 2025 (UTC)

:::{{u|Camilasdandelions}} Ah well it's the same scenario as above. The PSB remix of "Hallo Spaceboy" wasn't on the album itself but it's still included in the infobox since the single was apart of the "album cycle". There's also Seven and the Ragged Tiger: "The Reflex" was released as a single in a remix form (completely different (and inferior) on the album), and that single became Duran Duran's first US no. 1 and second UK no. 1. So like those examples, you would also include "Shadow" in the infobox since it was part of the album cycle, just clarified it's a remix. :-) – zmbro (talk) (cont) 13:56, 13 May 2025 (UTC)
