I think this article should mention tracing JIT (just-in-time) compilers in some way.

I feel event logging does not really fall in the scope of tracing and should definitely have a separate article. The topic itself should be notable enough. Many related review / survey papers can be found. 94rain ^Talk 20:37, 12 January 2024 (UTC)
