This entry should more formally stated that The Two-Gun Kid are TWO separate characters and include a caption containing the first appearance and date for both. --— Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.115.139.83 (talk • contribs) 02:55, 2 July 2010
:The first Two-Gun Kid is referred to as Marvels 1st continuing Western Character. While he may be the 1st to receive his own series, wasn't the first the Masked Raider, appearing in Marvel Mystery Comics #1-12? Can we change the page to reflect this? ::Good point. Timely's Masked Raider would indeed be first. And since the Clay Harder Two-Gun kid character (introduced March 1948) is not the same as the current Matt Hawk (Nov. 1962), that would make Kid Colt (Aug. 1948) the first still in use today. Nice catch. --Tenebrae (talk) 15:10, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
