Inventor ate Vaseline?
Is it safe to mention the urban legend, or fact, that the inventor regularly ate Vaseline because he was so certain of its health qualities? MightyArms (talk) 12:55, 25 October 2022 (UTC)
Add a picture of the Vaseline tub
Maybe someone can put an image of the Vaseline tub so someone can know what the packaging looks like. 2A00:23C6:BE86:B401:1D24:4DE6:8805:E4F8 (talk) 15:10, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
:The image with the name is the common format in some English speaking countries, but the name varies according to manufacturer, and may not be Vaseline, but rather some named variation of petroleum jelly. It may be contained in a jar, tube, or lip balm. Showing a product with branded Vaseline might be seen as WP:PROMO.
:On Wikimedia Commons, there [https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?search=vaseline&title=Special:MediaSearch&type=image are no better images] than now used in the article. Zefr (talk) 18:08, 26 May 2025 (UTC)
::Well there's a picture of petroleum jelly in a container but I know what you're saying about using brand names but what about a picture of Vaseline (brand) without the lid and also for the types of Vaseline like: Original, rosy lips, cocoa butter, aloe Vera and crème brûlée 2A00:23C6:BE86:B401:C4FB:D5C:D06:9BDB (talk) 08:51, 29 May 2025 (UTC)
