PROD Comment

[http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=990CEEDF113FF936A2575BC0A9669C8B63 The New York Times obituary] says very little about her son, recalling her actual work. Now, did they run the obit because her son is RdN, and this is the spin they took on it? or did they feel she as a professional was notable enough? I am not prepared to answer the question of whether this is the case, and whether the obit hints at self notability. All I ask is that the deleting admin consider that, and also consider if AfD is more appropriate for the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.69.39.11 (talk) 12:18, 15 March 2009 (UTC)

Robert Duncan

Admiral was an intimate friend of poet Robert Duncan.

The biographical summary is at pains not to include any reference to Duncan's later relationship with her ex-husband. The exclusion is forced and truncates the natural flow of information.
