{{DYK talk|9 April|2006|entry=...that the wars in Lombardy, fought between Venice and Milan from 1425 to the signing of the Treaty of Lodi in 1454, mark the emergence of five great Italian territorial states and the European concept of "balance of power"?}}

Map?
If someone with greater image editing skills then myself could make a map for this article it would be extremely helpful.--Ollie Garkey 12:56, 9 April 2006 (UTC)
[[Battle of Anghiari]]
The battle article says it was a win, not a loss, for Florence's league; also that the league was called the Italian League; also that the Papal States were involved in the conflict. If so, some of that information should prolly be included on this page. -LlywelynII (talk) 05:34, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
Sforza becomes Duke of Milan 1450 (delete "backed by Lorenzo de' Medici")
I propose deletion of "backed by Lorenzo de' Medici" in the second sentence of the "Aftermath" section. This is a mistake; there is no Lorenzo de' Medici involved at that time - see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorenzo_de%27_Medici_(disambiguation)
Lorenzo il Vecchio (1395–1440)
Lorenzo il Magnifico (1449–1492)
Cosimo il Vecchio was involved.
If no objection is raised I will make this change Aug 1, 2021.
