Talk:Wildlife of Japan

Almost all mentions of any flora includes the scientific name in parentheses. Since each plant's article contains the scientific name already, is this really necessary? Another thing was that I couldn't find any mention of sake or take bamboo. If you could provide the scientific names here for other contributors, it would help create a link to an article or create one for each species. Wmcscrooge (talk) 01:31, 16 August 2011 (UTC)
