After missing out on selection for Australia in 2024, Edmed spent one season with North Harbour in New Zealand. Scoring 137 points from all ten of North Harbour's matches in the 2024 Bunnings NPC season, Edmed was subsequently called up to the Wallabies. Edmed's test debut was 30 November 2024, in a narrow 19-22 loss against Ireland.
