History

A notable achievement for Tangi came on 25 March 2018 when resident Dr. Nadeem Jan and Fateh Kheil were awarded Tamgha e Imtiaz by the president of Pakistan.{{cn|date=October 2023}}

Graves of religious scholars and famous personalities include Sharo Mian Sahib, Nika Sahib, and Muhammadzai Nika Mazar.{{cn|date=October 2023}}
