The Tanimbar friarbird (Philemon plumigenis) is a species of bird in the family Meliphagidae.
It is endemic to the Kai and Tanimbar Islands, Indonesia.
Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
