Tanjil Bren is a town in Victoria, Australia, on Mount Baw Baw Tourist Road, {{convert|12|km|mi|0}} west of Mount Baw Baw in the Shire of Baw Baw. It was established during the Victorian Gold Rush.Tanjil Lodge is the original town general store . Four accommodation lodges, Mooshead, Reindeer, Jenny's and Timbertop Lodge, are located in Tanjil Bren. Climate
Tanjil Bren has a cold rainforest climate, with especially high rainfall between May and November. Heavy snowfalls are a frequent occurrence and can occur even in late spring to early summer.
