Taplejung Airport {{airport codes|TPJ|VNTJ}}, also known as Suketar Airport,{{cite web | url = http://www.thehimalayantimes.com/fullNews.php?NewsID=238291 | title = Landowners pacified with compensation for Suketar airport | publisher = The Himalayan Times | date = 11 April 2010}} is a domestic airport located in Phungling serving Taplejung District, a district in Koshi Province in Nepal. It is the main tourist gateway on the Kangchenjunga mountainous area and Pathibhara Devi Temple.
History
The airport started operations in October 1976.
