Taraco

Taraco is a peninsula jutting into Lake Wiñaymarka,{{Cite web |url=http://www.geonames.org/maps/google_-16.333_-68.917.html |title=www.geonames.org / Satellite map |access-date=2023-08-16 |archive-date=2014-10-29 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20141029173026/http://www.geonames.org/maps/google_-16.333_-68.917.html |url-status=live }} the southern branch of Lake Titicaca in Bolivia. It is located in the La Paz Department, Ingavi Province, Tiwanaku Municipality, Taraco Canton. There is also a town of the same name on the peninsula.
As with many place names in the Titicaca Basin, a corresponding Taraco District also exists on the Peruvian, northern side of the lake in the Huancané Province in Puno.
