Tatalon is a barangay of Quezon City, Philippines. History

Tatalon was originally a part of Caloocan but it was carved out of the city in 1939 pursuant to Commonwealth Act No. 502,{{cite PH act|url=https://ldr.senate.gov.ph/legislative-issuance/commonwealth-act-502|title=The Charter of Quezon City|chamber=CA|number=502|date=1939-10-12|publisher=Senate of the Philippines|access-date=2024-07-02}} which created Quezon City as the capital of the Philippines, along with the following sitios and barrios: Balingasa, Kaingin, Kangkong, La Loma, Malamig, Matalahib, Masambong, San Isidro, San Jose and Santol.{{cite web |url=https://caloocancity.gov.ph/26-about-us/298-history2 |title=History |publisher=Caloocan City Government |date= |access-date=June 18, 2021 }}

Geography

Tatalon is one of the city's low-lying areas and is susceptible to flooding.
