Terezinha "Teca" João Calazans (born 20 October 1940) is a Brazilian singer-songwriter.
Biography
Born in Vitoria, the daughter of a mandolin player and the granddaughter of a conductor, Calazans began her professional career in 1964 as a member of the music and stage ensemble Construção, which also included Naná Vasconcelos and Geraldo Azevedo.{{cite web |title=Teca Calazans |url=https://dicionariompb.com.br/artista/teca-calazans/ |website=Dicionário Cravo Albin |access-date=17 December 2022 |language=pt-BR}}
Calazans made her record debut in 1967 with the single "Aquela rosa/Cirandas". In the late 1980s she eventually decided to settle permanently in Paris, where she continued her musical activities.
